Abstract

This article explores the role of liberal arts education in shaping Myanmar’s future through Wesser's experiences teaching at Parami University, an online institution created amid political crisis and displacement. Drawing on Taoist philosophy, writing-to-think pedagogy, and student experiences, the article examines how liberal arts practices foster critical thinking, agency, and civic responsibility among students raised in systems of rote learning.
