This audio recording is the 1st digitized original open reel tape (sides A and B combined) from Heinrich Blücher’s lecture series “Metaphysical Foundation of Politics.” This lecture series was delivered in 1952. In this lecture he discusses the concept of political community in ancient Greece, focusing on Athens. It explores the relationship between society and politics, the creation of free communities, and Socrates' views on justice and responsibility within the Athenian political system.
