Abstract/Artist's Statement
Project Synopsis:
You Were Always There follows a young man who is being followed to and from work by a black SUV with a driver we never see. Its presence disturbs the young man to the point of locking himself away in a large home in the country. This plan falls through when the driver of the SUV, still unseen, enters his home and tries to break into his bathroom. Not only is he visited by the SUV driver, he is spiritually visited by a God-like presence that brings him to a scene at a church and tells him to flee the country home. The next morning he leaves, and has a Dantenian adventure through the wood, that takes him to memory of his father who leads him to an abandoned castle where he finds a room resembling his bedroom. He is then touched or guided by a God-like presence or the absurd.
