Abstract/Artist's Statement

Goro Nakayama is the most famous man in 1960s Japan, and nobody has ever heard of him. He is the actor inside the suit for Gargondos, a beloved giant monster. He's done this physically and emotionally taxing job for years, but as the climate of the films he works on begins to change, he wonders what exactly he's doing this all for. A character study told via image descriptions, a graphic novel sans graphics.
