Abstract/Artist's Statement
A series of new orange/red-emitting Platinum(II) cyclometalated complexes with monodentate and chelating isocyanides were synthesized via substitution reaction. The synthesis, characterization, and photophysical properties of these complexes are reported with quantum yields ranging from 0.8 - 6.8% and lifetimes ranging from 476.9 nanoseconds to 4.566 microseconds. All diisocyanide ligands and metalated complexes were characterized by 1H NMR, 1H-1H NMR (COSY), and FTIR
