Abstract/Artist's Statement
The goal of this project is to show how we can extend every topologically unique planar ordinary 6-site Voronoi diagram in order to construct every unique 7-site planar ordinary Voronoi diagram. We first establish the techniques we will use to accomplish this by extending the 5-site diagrams to each of the unique 6-site diagrams, which have been proven. We do this by placing the 6th site inside and on specific subsets of the plane and then constructing the new diagrams using the Incremental Method. We then set the foundation for future work by showing every topologically unique 6-site diagram so that they may be extended to 7-site diagrams by using the same techniques.
