Abstract/Artist's Statement
I am not a poem.
I am not snow, or gold.
I am a creator of menace and delight.
I am an exploiter of characters; a caster of questions.
I am a blind body wandering in a sea of light.
I am a poet, a dancer, a god, a clown.
I harbor secrets while showing my stockings.
I pull up skirts to reveal the ankles of those I respect.
I can play the tambourine with my face and laugh for a year
