Abstract/Artist's Statement
This project is an exploration of a voting procedure in Social Choice theory called the partial Borda Count, which is a modification of the linear Borda Count. Whereas the linear Borda Count uses fully ordered sets as ballots, the partial Borda Count uses less- restrictive partially ordered sets(or posets) as ballots. In particular, this project examines different posets that yield the same scores for candidates and scores that do not arise from posets.
