Abstract/Artist's Statement
An investigation into the life and work of Letitia Elizabeth Landon, one of the most famous writers of her day who, after her death, faded into obscurity. This project looks at Landon's Romantic influences, the way in which she acquired and dealt with fame, and the reasons for her disappearance from critical discourse.
