Abstract/Artist's Statement
This paper delves into the organizational dynamics of Pfizer, a prominent pharmaceutical entity, examining its historical evolution, organizational structure, and contributions to healthcare, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to develop a dashboard. The study focuses on Pfizer's commitment to workforce development through its education system, exemplified by the Pfizer Learning Academy (PLA) and the Learning for My Growth (LfMG) Program. However, a challenge arises in tracking engagement across different Business Units (BUs) within the LfMG Program, hindering the Learning and Development (L&D) team's ability to discern areas of high or low engagement. To address this issue, the paper proposes a conceptual solution through the development of an interactive Tableau dashboard. Leveraging Tableau's capabilities in handling complex datasets, the dashboard aims to enhance engagement tracking, enabling tailored strategies for distinct BUs within Pfizer. The technical and soft skills required for implementation are outlined, presenting the components of the proposed dashboard, and anticipating positive outcomes; and the role of technology, specifically Tableau, in enhancing the effectiveness of Pfizer's educational programs, is underscored. The proposed Tableau dashboard emerges as a solution to enhance engagement tracking, thereby boosting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Pfizer's Learning for My Growth Program. This exploration contributes insights into the intersection of education, technology, and organizational dynamics in the pharmaceutical industry.
