Abstract/Artist's Statement

This report details investigations into quantum chaos, starting with an exploration of chaotic motion in classical mechanics and ending with a statement of Wigner's surmise. While introducing the prerequisite concepts with a historical frame of reference, the bulk of the paper deals with a method for producing probability amplitude graphs for quantum billiards, the so-called expansion method. Applications of this method lead to faulty results. These are covered in detail and speculation about the issues with implementation are offered.
