Abstract/Artist's Statement
My senior concert consists of four original compositions, one arrangement, one contrafact, one vocal song, and a film score. I began writing these compositions in September of 2021 and have been editing them throughout the spring semester. While my senior concert does not have a specific theme, I have always had a specific vision for my senior concert: I wanted it to consist of original compositions that showcase a variety of genres, styles, textures, and instrumentations. I think that I have accomplished this by writing compositions that are vastly different from each other.
