Abstract/Artist's Statement
These are photographs that unfold with the passing of time. Stillness is quiet but it moves; it breathes in a moment of drawn out motion- a slow inhale. I have had to learn to be patient, to wait for the sublime ordinary moments that lie hidden in plain sight. And so I waited; for a breeze that didn't shake the trees too much, for thumbs to twitch and the light to recede. This is what I saw when I allowed myself to really look.
