Abstract/Artist's Statement
This senior project was the culmination of studying classical vocal performance for 4 years under the guidance of Ilka LoMonaco. The first concert, Did I sing too loud?, took place on April 17th, 2017, and the final concert, Tell the Wolves I’m Home, took place the following semester on November 29th, 2017. These concerts consisted of art songs, arias, cantatas, and oratorio, from baroque to modern, in German, Italian, English, French, and Czech.
