Abstract

This research focuses on exploring the conceptual framework of liberal arts and sciences education, and in turn, analyzing the way in which the Indigenous Authorities of the Arica Zone (AIZA) produce curricular projects for the teaching of their own language in the specific case of the San Francisco de Asis school in the Nueva Reforma community. In this way, to show the uniqueness and diversity of education in the Arica Zone, highlighting its importance in the intercultural dialogue and its contribution to the current debates on ethno-education in Colombia.
