This audio recording is the 1st digitized cassette tape (sides A and B combined, transferred from the original open reel tapes) from Heinrich Blücher’s lecture series “Sources of Creative Power.” This lecture series was delivered between 1953-54. In this tape, he discusses early Eastern philosophers, focusing on Lao-Tze and Buddha. It explores their concepts of being, meaning, and transcendence, contrasting their ideas with Indian mythological systems and examining their impact on philosophical thought and understanding of human existence.
