This audio recording is the 8th digitized original open reel tape (sides A and B combined) from Heinrich Blücher’s lecture series “Metaphysical Ideas and Human Values in Modern Art.” This lecture series was delivered in 1952. In this lecture he discusse Paul Cézanne's revolutionary approach to painting, how Cézanne's techniques reflected societal changes, his unique perspective on space and color, and his influence on subsequent artistic movements.
