Abstract/Artist's Statement

Tired Barren and Alone is about: Struggling to identify with God. It is about feeling purposeful in this life. I hoped that by members of the audience seeing me work through a state of such despair they could both empathize as well as heed the performance as a warning. A warning to not obsess on the personal problems or strengths of the self but that rather as human beings we should look outward to our fellow human beings for purpose as well as reassurance.
