Abstract/Artist's Statement
As a singer challenged by many facets of the musical process, I have come to enjoy the fact that I will always be striving to improve, to get a little bit closer to creating beautiful and sublime music. I believe music exists for everyone; there is no magical ordination that allows some people be “musical” and forbids others from making and enjoying this deeply emotive medium. The music I make is about commitment and communication - I want to share my journey with my audience, to include them in the music being made. My mission as an artist is to reach for the universal: to create something relatable, as well as beautiful.
