Abstract/Artist's Statement
“Searching for Humanity” is what I have come up with, visually, in an attempt to filter my experience of life. It is a series of paintings of individuals who are fighting for their truth, and have decided to use their capacities to actively do something about the troubles they perceive in the world. Using my consistent love for portraiture and painting, this is a visual exploration of the questions I've been asking myself as I get older and try to figure out who I am and where I'm going.
