Description

Attracted to campus because of its beauty in snowy weather. Intrigued by Bard's immediate acceptance program. During the school's second year of L&T, he was locked in a classroom by Elaine Avedon to write a paper. Wrote poetry throughout his time at Bard. Played intramural basketball, put on poetry performance in the Towbin Poetry Room, participated in friends' plays. Was a very disinterested high school student, felt like Bard really taught him how to be a learner. Appreciated the fact that Bard placed an emphasis on written evaluations over grades. Bard was instrumental in exposing him to jazz and poetry. Created a conceptual band with friends called Jim Door and the Perceptions.
